We’re learning to draw the symbol of autumn and Halloween — a pumpkin. Everything begins with creating a rounded shape that will become the base of our pumpkin, followed by adding the characteristic vertical grooves that give it volume and make it recognizable. After that, we focus on the details: drawing a stem on top and possibly adding a few curved lines to give the pumpkin a playful or mysterious look.

Draw a circle — but not a perfect one.
.
.

Sketch the top with another small circle and draw “segments” like on a mandarin or a watermelon.
.
.

Refine the overall pumpkin shape.
.
.

Clean up the sketch like this.
.
.

Draw an oval at the top of the pumpkin, as shown in the picture, to connect the shape to the stem.
.
.

Draw a simple shape for the stem.
.
.

Erase unnecessary lines.
.
.

Add a few lines on the stem.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.
.

The drawing is ready!
